Patti Gillespie

Patti Gillespie is a watercolorist, oil painter and muralist who is inspired by the concept of capturing light to illuminate her paintings from within. She is interested in creating in her paintings the illusion of depth and space.

She received her Associate Degree from Northwest Florida State College and her BFA in painting from the University of West Florida. While attending UWF she received an OUR Grant which funded the project Everyday Heroes. Everyday Heroes was exhibited in the Goetsch Gallery at Northwest Florida State College and at the Chautauqua Campus in South Walton County.

While attending NWFSC she was honored to be awarded Best of Show in the Arnie Hart Juried Student Show. Her works have been published in the Blackwater Review of NWFSC and The Troubadour of UWF. She has also participated in the Chautauqua Assembly in Defuniak Springs, Florida as well as the ArtsQuest Fine Art Festival in Destin, Florida. She spent this summer working with the historical society of Montrose, Iowa to create a timeline of murals preserving the history of their town.

Patti is a member of ADSO, the Arts and Design Society of Ft Walton Beach, Florida, Emerald Coast Plein Air Painters and Women Painters of the Southeast. Her work is currently exhibited in the Okaloosa County Administrative Building in connection with Okaloosa Public Arts. Her work is currently available for purchase in Sandestin, Florida at Baytowne Jewelers. She is also affiliated with the Temple House Gallery in Nauvoo, Illinois.

Lexie Reames

Lexie Reames is proficient in portraying the human form realistically, in unrealistic scenarios. Often working with oil on wood, she creates compositions beginning with a figure painted from life. She continues by setting the figures in dreamlike environments or disturbingly morphing the figures. After receiving her BFA in painting from the University of West Florida in December of 2016, her work has been exhibited in the Feminist Iconography III exhibition at the Artel Gallery in Pensacola, Florida. Additionally, her piece, Study of Color, Texture, and Androgyny, was featured on the front cover of an internationally recognized scholarly journal, Feminist Spaces. Marzia Ransom

Marzia Ellero Ransom is a Renaissance artist. Her work spans from painting and photography, to sculpture and video installations. Marzia also teaches several disciplines at the Universtity of West Florida and Pensacola State College in Pensacola, FL.
